Who  I Am

I am like light that appears both as photons and as waves depending upon how you want to observe it. On the one hand, like a photon, I am a scientist with a PhD in chemistry, many published papers and patents and a long career as a technology innovator and entrepreneur. While on the other hand, like a wave, I am a teacher, an artist, film-maker, poet, writer and photographer. Even this description contains both elements.

What I Do

I try to see what normally others miss.  Whether this is through my camera lens or my inventions or my poetry or my writing or my Torah teaching. This is my gift. In the series Pareidolia I see what most others miss - the human form in all its beauty within a tree with all its beauty.  The human and the tree, the tree and the human, the unity and fractality of nature.

“CREATIVITY IS A WILD MIND AND A DISCIPLINED EYE.”
